Curator of Decorative Arts and Design,
High Museum of Art
From fantastical rendering to realized cars, visionary automotive designs influence the automotive industry and investigate the role innovative design played in challenging the notions of what is both stylistically and technologically possible. Dream Cars will discuss several influential concept cars from 1934 to today addressing some of the individual visionaries who made them a reality, the profound influence of aerodynamics and aeronautics had on these designs, and the groundbreaking automotive fairs that placed them in the international spotlight.
