Aaron Hussey Projected Idol: a madman’s obsession

December 9, 2005 – January 21, 2006

Aaron Hussey’s installation includes over 200ceramic male figures meticulously arranged on a shaped floor pattern and surrounded by a grass perimeter. The figures are faceless except two holes for eyes; some with mouths and some without. Each figure has a different body type and uniquely expressive pose as they either congregate before a projected image of the “perfect body”stopping along the way and gathering into separate groups.
