anecdotes Jennifer Segal
Jennifer Segal’s exhibition consisted of over a hundred small sculptures displayed on a continuous shelf reaching around the Small Gallery. The pieces, none more than 8 inches high, reflected her experience as an artist and art therapist. She used unpainted clay and found objects to create a litany of expressive forms, the intention of which was to find the minimum of information that was needed to evoke a sense of recognition from the viewer. The artist lived in Houston, TX at the time of the exhibition.
