Ground Water Emily Joyce

This exhibition of small-scale paintings on Plexiglas and one large-scale wall painting invited the viewer into a story spun by the artist. Her paintings were daydreams of a future that the artist, as ‘master architect’, has constructed, laying down blueprints of worlds built for her and those close to her. The world was essentially a theme park designed to delight those for whom it is designed.
