Mindy Kober All the Liberated Mass

University of Houston student Mindy Kober presents a series of paintings that merge figurative illustrations reminiscent of children’s books with the aesthetics of 19th-century Japanese prints in this Lawndale exhibition. Much like Kober’s earlier work, this series of paintings fuses elements of high and low art, the sacred and the secular, and eastern and western philosophies.
