“My concept is to create visual poetry for the viewer. I wish to engage the viewer in an experience of wonder. It is my idea that by using every day objects in an uncommon way that the viewer will relate to the piece while in the gallery. I wish the viewer a moment to stop and be amazed. I believe it can change the way we look at everything.My work uses metaphors of nature to convey the cycles of life. I want the audience to have the experience of coming in to a piece in the middle of the cycle and affect it in some way and have it effect them in some way—with the understanding that both goon, but both have been effected by the other.”
