About
Sandra Lim the author of three collections of poetry: most recently, THE CURIOUS THING (W.W. Norton, 2021); THE WILDERNESS (W.W. Norton, 2014), and LOVELIEST GROTESQUE (Kore Press, 2006). Her poems have appeared in The New York Review of Books, The Baffler, The New Republic, and elsewhere. She has received the Levis Reading Prize, a Literature Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Born in Seoul, Korea, she teaches at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and in the low-residency MFA program at Warren Wilson College. She lives in Cambridge, MA.

Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts presents readings from University of Houston Creative Writing Program graduate students and contributors to its pages. The monthly Gulf Coast Reading Series supports the journal’s mission to spotlight the work of both esteemed and emerging writers with voices as diverse as the Gulf itself.
